Google Calculator
Have you ever used the Google Calculator? Go to Google.com now and put in the words:
"How many seconds in a month"
See what you get. Will it be a list of web sites?
Well, there's something I didn't know was available in Google. It wasn't a list of web sites, as I thought it would be. Interestingly enough, I just posted a topic about Blingo, which is powered by Google, but this did not work in Blingo. Go figure.
This is really quite unique. You can find more information about the Google calculator here.
It can do word problems as well as numerical calculations such as 5 * 5 or 2 + 1 as well.
The scientific calculation functions are rather fun to play around with. I highly recommend spending a few minutes at least seeing what you can make it do.
I already have a scientific calculator application on my machine, I don't see a use for it. I suppose if you where away from your machine at another machine and needed it, it could be handy. Otherwise, its a neat little invention of code that really doesn't have a ton of uses to the vast majority of people. At least in my opinion.
