I used to be a Trinidad and Tobago Scout and even tried to start a scout troop as well. Scouting should be pushed more but most parents tend to get their children involved with academics or sports. Scouting has a more military tone in Trinidad and Tobago as compared with the USA as marching and drills make up a lot of scouting time apart from learning survival skills.
