NAVAL HERO WHO RESCUED BRITISH TROOPS DIES

Robert Timbrell, who became the first decorated Canadian naval officer of the Second World War for his bravery in rescuing British troops in 1940, has died.

I didn't even know of Canada's involvement in WWII. This man was something to be proud of, for all Canadians to be proud of. He was remembered enough to make the news when he died, but I'm sure his memory still lives in the minds of those troops he saved.
