Oblivion was so technically advance that 90% of the computers can't run it the way that it was intended. I had to build my own computer and it still isn't good enough I have to update my vidcard so that it will run silky smooth.
If they make a 5 Elderscroll, I hope that it's not more technically advanced they may have to create new vidcards and soundcards just for it.
One has to wonder if such games are not in league with hardware suppliers to ensure you make the purchase? For instance I can see this scenario:
Game builders: "Let's build Elders Scrolls 5, but make sure that the video card companies give us some financial support so we require their latest products to play the game".
I've played Oblivion on my 360 since I first bought it. I've dominated almost every aspect of the game. I've played as a long range thief, a pure magic user, and as the full on brawler that crushes enemies with a single blow. I find that the fastest way to level up, is to make your major skills some of the following.... sneak, blade, alchemy, alteration, illusion, armorer- (repairing and such) and of course the ever popular acrobatics. in doing this you can have your characters level up tremendously fast. also... another way to beat the game quickly is to make the skills you need your minor skills. In doing this your character can become very powerful without leveling up. this is beneficial in the fact that all the enemies level up with you. So you can effectively annihilate the game being first level, yet doing damage as a level 30 character.
