In Person Or On Tv?

As with any sport there are advantages to being at the event while there are other aspects that are better while watching from home on TV. I personally find that it is a thrill to be at a race more because of the bragging rights that go along with saying that you were there. The face coverage however is much better on TV as you can see the replays and hear the commentary that goes along with all events. Nextel has had headsets to allow you to better hear the commentary while attending the races but has taken that a step further with miniature TVs built into the headset receiver.

What do you think is the best and worst thing about watching a race in person? ... on TV?

Tv Or Person In

I much more prefer watching a race on TV. Race tracks are just to hot for my liking. The Kansas Speedway is the closest track to me, and every race involves high heat and crazy heat indexes due to the high track temperatures. This creates a very uncomfortable experience at the track for me.

At home I can sit back and watch in comfort and relaxation. If I have to use the bathroom, I pause the race via my DVR and go do my business. I don't have to miss anything and I can always view exciting parts over again. I would rather watch racing or any sport on TV.
