Bad At Home Good At School

PATTERN HOME RULES AFTER SCHOOL'S

Is the preschooler or toddler in your life demanding and uncooperative at home? Yet when you ask his teacher or child-care facilitator about his behavior, she looks at you with surprise and says he's one of the best-behaved children in the class. One of the first to volunteer, one of the last to leave at clean-up time, he rarely throws tantrums and almost always remembers to say please and thank you.

School Good Home Bad

Hey, someone's describing my 3 year old little boy!

Last week, he was having an absolute major tantrum/full mood. He was shouting and screaming on the way to nursery, so I explained the situation to the teacher and apologized in advance. I went to pick him up at home time, and she commented on what an 'absolute little lamb' he had been for her!

It's really frustrating when kids behave themselves for other people, but at least if they are behaving themselves out of the home, they are not making a bad impression of themselves or you, in front of others!
