Frederick Sanger
British biochemist Frederick Sanger, who twice won the Nobel Prize in chemistry, has died, the Associated Press and the BBC reported Wednesday. He was 95. Sanger first won the Nobel in 1958 for his work determining the sequence of amino acids in insulin. In 1980, he won a second Nobel Prize for his development of a technique to sequence human DNA. Ref.
