Reports: Dozens dead, many injured in fiery Iran train crash
Iranian officials say that dozens of bodies have been found at the site of a train crash in the north of the country on Friday morning. State TV said accident happened in subzero temperatures when a passenger train hit another that had stopped at a station about 150 miles east of the capital, Tehran. Ref. USAToday.

There are some railing services around Iran that would take you for a good distance, but usually locals take the bus after using the train. Train times can be quite specific and therefore it's easier to get land transport instead. However after this accident it'll surely discourage locals to not use the train next time either.
