Your PC Speaker System

Sound is essential for me on a computer system, but not for some people like LDS_forever, she often mutes it or turns it off completely. What kind of speaker system do you have for your computer?

I have both headphones (regular type with mic) and a 3 piece Genius.

I just don't use my speakers that often. I tend to mute it as well. I do have a set of speakers that I don't even know the brand name off and use the on board sound. I do tend to prefer speakers with their own power plugin as opposed to relying on the on board power.

I myself rarely care if I have sound or not. I have begun using my laptop for 90% of all my computer activity so I have some tiny internal speaker that I know absolutely nothing about. That being said, I do own a set of powered speakers that I use for presentations and such. I at one point really enjoyed having a good speaker set in place to listen to the radio or other audio while doing my work online.
