Is North Carolina Surfing popular? Are there North Carolina Wave Rider facilities that Surfers can use for the sport? Is the sport developed or unknown? Even if it is not done locally, who are the most known North Carolina Surfers?

Surfing Carolina North
When I was driving along the outer banks of North Carolina I did see some people out on the ocean surfing. While the waves were not huge or even large the surfers seemed to be enjoying themselves and having fun. I am not a surfer so I did not go try it but it is nice to sit and watch a person riding a wave into shore.
