Salmonella

If you eat any type of meats, specially chicken...you need to be aware that it is possible to get Salmonella, specially if the meat is not properly cooked. So make sure to clean the chicken properly and all the utensils you use.

Salmonella

There was a really severe case of Salmonella food poisoning a few years ago near us.
Outside caterers had made chocolate mousse in large quantities for a party, and just one of the eggs that he used raw was infected with the virus.
A lot of people were really ill, and a couple of people were close to death because they lost so much body fluid.
This really is a nasty virus, and by all accounts very easily transmitted.

Salmonella

Study shines new light on how Salmonella 'die' at low temperatures. The most economical way to kill bacteria that cause common food-borne illnesses -- mostly caused by Salmonella enterica -- is heat, but, the mechanisms that kill Salmonella at lower temperatures were not fully understood until now, according to a team of researchers.
