Cher is now sixty years old, yet she has the pulling power to bring in millions of dollars for her things that she no longer wants around. A portion of the earnings went to charity, the rest she is using to redecorate after a decision to start over. Essentially she had to much junk, and like the rest of us, she had a garage sale. Of course, it turned out to be a multi million dollar garage sale. But I'm glad that some of it went to charity, something good came of her lavish lifestyle.

I suspect that Cher only returns to the spotlight for three reasons:

1) She enjoys the attention she receives from the public.
2) She is bored and hates being alone.
3) She is overly concerned about her financial status.

It is always such a painful experience while listening to Cher being interviewed. Whenever the interviewer asks Cher a simple question, the viewer will hold his/her breath in anticipation, while she pauses and you are actually expecting an intelligent, well thought out answer. However, she merely responds in an uninterested way and her answer leaves you to wonder, if she forgot her train of thought. I am surprised that she was selected to replace Celine Dion at Caesar's Palace. It is amazing though that in spite of her age, she still commands a lot of star power!
