Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi survived a challenge from Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan and was re-elected by House Democrats to lead the party for another two years. Pelosi has been the House Democratic leader since 2003, and became speaker when she led her party to the majority in 2006. And this is why they shouldn't be career politicians and the biggest plug for term limits. How could she possibly know what average Americans want or need? She hasn't known what it's like to be an average American for decades. Also, she rails against the rich and privileged. Don't get me wrong, I applaud that she made it where she is but her hypocrisy knows no bounds.

How does Ms. Pelosi, at her age, maintain an eight hour marathon speech? She has always been an advocate for immigrants but I have the feeling that what she is doing will not yield much results.
