If you are trying to enable Backup in WHM but keep getting; "Backup has been disabled to prevent file loss.." then in your root directory create a backup file and in the field where it says,

QUOTE
Backup Destination (this should be a dir/nfs/coda mount with at least twice the space of all your /home* partitions. Setting this to /home is a VERY BAD IDEA.):


Add this line:

CODE
/root/backup
