Homes 'dumping a third of food'
Britons throw away 6.7m tonnes of food a year, adding to greenhouse gases from landfill sites, a report will say.

I guess some of us Brits are guilty of this, but I wouldn't say that the country as a whole was any worse at doing this than any other country.
There are massive campaigns going on throughout Great Britain at the moment to try to educate people on these issues, and recycling etc, to make a better global environment for everybody.
At least it's a step in the right direction.
