Does anyone here still use this? I recently saw an ad by Microsoft showing their newest Web TV for Christmas and I was surprised since I thought it died out long ago.

Honestly JB, I thought it had died away a few years ago also. When I had my computer store open last christmas, I found that there are a lot of people that find it a very easy way to do their very simple internet operations. From what I have come to understand, it has been a popular gift for grandparents to keep in touch with their grandchildren. Geared towards the TV just like a remote control, it becomes economically more sensible a gift then a PC. Also, for someone whom isn't already accustomed to the internet as we know it, a WEB TV unit is very easy for someone that is not technology oriented to learn.
