'HIGHWAY OF TEARS' CRIME CASES DOUBLE

The number of unsolved cases involving women reported missing or found dead along northern B.C.'s Highway 16, the so-called highway of tears has doubled to 18, and no arrests have been made since the first case 38 years ago, RCMP in the province said.

I usually feel a chill going down my spine whenever I read reports like this. It is so bizarre and yet horrifying to learn that, so many women are either missing or found dead and the police have no leads. I believe that this is the work of a serial killer. It is truly amazing how these killers are so elusive to the police. The highway is a very lonely place to be, especially at night. Perhaps the serial killers lurks around the area, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike his next victim. These murderers are the biggest cowards in the world. They always choose the women, since they consider them to be the weakest and yet, the easiest victims to capture, torture and eventually, kill. I hope the police are discouraging people from travelling alone on this highway.

These serial killers derive a great deal of pleasure when they capture, torture and kill their victims. When the media publishes these reports, these serial killers experience a warped and strong sense of pride, knowing that they are becoming famous for their diabolical actions. And unfortunately, all the media attention never deters these murderers. It appears that they are almost motivated by the negative attention and therefore, they feel even more encouraged, to commit these heinous crimes.
