Not sure if there are really any tips to help with this one. The best advice or recommendation is simply a reminder that you need to keep in mind that boats can be turned in any direction when you are firing upon your enemy. Also keep in mind how many squares each boat takes up. That way after you kill your first boat you have an idea as to how large the remaining boats are. Example: If you have already killed the tug and frigate you know that there is only the submarine that is only 3 squares, battleship that is 4 squares and the large carrier that is 5 squares. This way you don't waste a shot firing in a direction that the remaining boats couldn't possibly fit into.
