Legal battle over Warcraft 'bot'

The makers of World of Warcraft are in a legal fight with the creator of a tool that automates actions in the virtual world.

Bot Warcraft

I wonder if this lawsuit goes through and Blizzard wins if other gaming sites and gaming software makers will sue the makers of bots that are so populous in may of the gaming software and sites that one visits. Will this spell the demise of bots world wide? I personally hope so I hate those bots.
