Reuters - California's two main river basins and the aquifers beneath its agricultural heartland have lost nearly enough water since 2003 to fill Lake Mead, America's largest reservoir, new satellite data showed on Monday.

That is a lot of water that is missing. I wonder where it it has gone and why. I wonder how they are going to keep water to the residents of California. Will we soon see water riots in California?
