What do you as a human think about Marilyn Manson? Why would someone want to use the name and of a mass murder together with a known Hollywood blond? What does his <!--WORD2URL-01--><!--END WORD2URL-01-->music<!--WORD2URL-02--><!--END WORD2URL-02--> induce you to be / do / feel? In one interview he admitted that his look is purely entertainment, but do you think it is taking it too far?

Personally I cannot stand him. I do not like his music, how he looks, what he stands for, his disregard for sacred emblems held special by others and so on. I believe one can be an entertainer without going overboard and he is far from overboard - he is already drowning in the ocean.

If I'm talking only about his music, I would say he is OK ... not too outstanding, but OK. As for the looks and the behavior, well surely he's out "in the ocean". He does it for the money. I mean this is all a "stunt" probably made up by that guy - for a period I wasn't even sure of his sexe - but improved/encouraged by his managers. If he would have dressed up in a decent manner, probably he wouldn't have sold half his records. He wants to shock the audience and he does it impressively.

I actually like Marilyn Manson he's a very intelligent and clever man and so are allot of his lyrics, as for the name I think it's just to grab you're attention although I can't condone the glorification of serial killers plenty of other people have done that by writing books and making films about them! as for the image it's not to different to Alice cooper, David Bowie or anyone like that, the fact is everyone loves a bad guy going right back to Elvis who people thought was the Devil incarnate because he gyrated his hips! Has anyone seen bowling for columbine/ Marilyn Manson actually made the most sense of anyone in that film, him and Matt Stone who writes South park!

38 year old dating an actress of 20 years? It seems to be the last thing ANY woman needs but 20 ? I do not know anything about her--the age thing just shocks me with his obvious appearance and disturbed collections!~
