Hunter starts to grumble about how weird everything is becoming. He braces himself against the wall and then tries to open the door with his sword.
Ardo looks at the soup then the rest of his companions. "It looks and feels real and tastes real. I am hoping someone comes and tells us what is going on."
Davik looks around at the faces of the people round the table, realising they did not acknowledge him, he examines the food closely, before piercing some of it with his fork and eating it.
Delgar will try the meal he is hungry and wants to see what this really is he would say what's the worst that can happen but he knows how bad things can be when it comes to magic.
Hunter and Drethen make their way out onto the raised walkway that crosses the brightly lit main corridor. On the opposite side of the walkway, there's another door.
Ardo, Delgar, and Davik enjoy a fine onion soup with croutons and melted cheese. Despite its origins, they feel refreshed and slightly healthier from having eaten the soup. (Delgar's total HP is now 25, Davik's total HP is now 22, and Ardo's total HP is now 32).
As soon as they are finished, the ethereal servants pick up their dishes and file out of the room. The other ethereal guests continue to ignore the trio despite their attempts to communicate or otherwise be noticed.
Hunter and Drethen have to react quickly to avoid two more processions of ghostly servants on the walkway as one group is removing dishes, approaching them from behind and moving through the far door, while the second is bringing the next course, approaching from through the far door and entering the dining room.
As the second set of servants enter, they set in front of Davik, Delgar, and Ardo a mellow amber wine and a tossed salad.
Out of Character: As before, please include a d20 roll with your next post.
Hunter inspects the corridor, tests it with his sword before stepping… looks to the side and above and then heads for the next door pushing it open with his sword.
