Dogs do something similar. Interestingly their nose is cold already so the tail just keeps it from getting colder?

Snow leopards are some of the most lovely creatures to look at. Although a predator they move with so much grace and finesse. Its good to know that there are plenty around.

Leopard Snow

Research suggests low density of snow leopards in Nepal`s Conservation Area. The snow leopard is a mammal species of the cat family found at high altitudes in Nepal and other countries around the Himalayan range. However, it has been included in the vulnerable category of IUCN Red list of threatened species in recent years for various reasons. Source 3t.
