Tornado kills 3, injures 4 kids in Alabama: reports
A tornado in Alabama killed three people in a mobile home early Wednesday and critically injured four children at a daycare center, according to media reports. The Jackson County coroner's office confirmed the deaths and said there were multiple injuries, AL.com reported. The National Weather Service said that four children were critically injured when a daycare center in Idler, DeKalb County, was destroyed. Ref. USAToday.
Sunday's tornado in Alabama, killing at least 23 people, was the nation's deadliest in six years. At least 5 dead as multiple tornadoes pummel Alabama in the second line of severe storms to slam the state in weeks.
