Daishain Introduction - Page 10

I'm curious, what is it you want in a laptop that you can't get at a dealer?

Introduction Daishain

The problem I face is that most dealers are going with what's popular. And what's popular these days are ultraslim and light models with more flair than substance.

I need a computer able to run a high performance solid modeling program without flinching, want it to be able to run triple-A games, and have a decent battery life (At least when not running the prior two).

From there, I expect the thing to have a long expected life span, which between heat dissipation and simple physics effectively means I am looking at a sturdier, heavier, and larger frame than is the norm these days (Fortunately the frame requirement tends to also make it cheaper when comparing in the same performance category, keeping it slim is expensive), good brand reliability, and decent customer service (The last two of which effectively wipes both Dell and HP computers off of my list)

Oh, and Apple computers aren't in the running for too many reasons to list.

So yeah, to put it in car terms, essentially I'm looking for the equivalent of a Ford F-250 while every dealership I can find is trying to sell me a Prius or a Sentra.

Makes sense when buying a laptop to get better than average so as time passes its capabilities aren't considered old school. If you can please post up the specs once you get it with a pic.

My currently laptop is a Asus and I an very happy with it. It is a gaming computer so it has the dual core and high speed processor. It has 12 G of ram and so far I am well pleased with it. I have had it for almost a year now it cost a bit more than some of your other models but well worth it I feel.
