Velon can't believe what he's seeing as the cloud approaches the town. He closes up his pack after having had collected the uniforms from the guards they killed and throws it on his back in a hurry. "Let's go! Move! To that building Lora and Zarra went to!" He begins to move quickly around the town and then more stealthily, using his stone when needed and covering the shiny parts of his armor with his cloak, as they cross the empty space to the building. He looks behind to ensure the whole party is following closely.
During the approach to town, he uses the Message spell several times to address Poljen privately. "Do you think there are too many for us to clear this town in the next few minutes? There are many guards, Rezmir herself, and surely more surprises. If it's too much we could focus on getting into the castle. We know Rezmir and likely the mask will be along for the ride."
Lawrance follows Velon, triggering his Mage Armour as he starts, and tries to keep his cloak covering him as he moves. Looking interestedly at the approaching castle, his mind speculates on its construction. He has his hawk keeping a watch from above, ready to alert him on any threat.

Under cover of night, the group slips up to the town, and everyone reunites by the tanner's shed. There is still a guard nearby, so remaining quiet, or dealing with him before talking, is prudent.
By this point the cloud is overhead, and beginning to descend. It is dark enough now that you can only see it by contrast.
The hawk reports a large gathering, maybe 75 in all, near the stables. Exactly what they're doing seems difficult to determine, but it looks rather ceremonial. He also spots the half dragon, Rezmir, among them, still wearing the mask.

Poljen says to Velon and the others, "There are far too many for us to take them all. Especially in one group. Our best hope might be to find uniforms and mingle with them, hoping to get close. If we have to get on board that… flying mountain, then we might have a better chance of fighting smaller groups. But it is up to you all."
Lorairies speaks quietly to the group." I'm new to this group and so I'm not too familiar with your fighting strength. I think it is extremely dangerous to attack the town guards and this Wyrmspeaker. There are too many of them not to mention the Wyrmspeaker and that other monstrosity. If we had more time to attack them piecemeal maybe. We don't have time. They have who knows how many reinforcements on that castle. The Wyrmspeaker will travel on the castle to some well that is 1000 miles southeast of here. I feel that our best option is to manage to sneak on the castle somehow unnoticed and then attack once we are away from these reinforcements. Everything we need will be in the castle. Rezmir, the mask you are seeking and gold. Lots and lots of gold."
Her eyes light up at this." It has much more chance of success to me anyways. I'm no soldier, merely a humble cleric though." She grins as she says this.
Out of Character: : She can cast remove curse. It isn't currently prepared but she can change that during her next long rest. She wouldn't notice the wounds most likely since they are almost back to full strength. Be sure to mention it to her in character if you would like to be cured. I kind of want to see Cratol and Poljen howling at the moon *wink*.

"Considering where the castle lands is in the depression, and the size of it's footprint, I'd recommend trying to board from the flank or far side. I doubt they'll expect us, but I'm sure there will be at least some token guards on those sides. They will be preoccupied with loading their ill-gotten loot more than any invaders. We just need a way in."
Velon stays quiet as they arrive in secret at the building. He points at Zarra, Lora, Cratol and Poljen, then turns and points at the guard. He drags his finger across his throat to tell them what to do as he takes his necklace off and tosses his silence stone to Cratol to borrow for a moment.
Having trust that his skilled friends will take care of that, the paladin takes a moment to peer out of the front of the building, considering what the scouting has told them. He ponders simply sneaking into the castle as the primary goal, but also takes measure of the grouped up enemies outside and pictures them going down in a fiery explosion.
Out of Character: Wouldn't normally keep the barbarian on the stealth list but if I recall correctly there have been many references to the large man being both faster than average and stealthy!
Curious for the Dungeon Master's response in Q&A before posting any further.
