His ego is insatiable. If he's not the biggest and best at everything, he throws a hissy fit and threatens to sue. That has been the pattern his entire life, and I don't know why people are surprised by it.

Daishain, it is just hard to believe that someone who 'successfully' runs a business can act like a big baby time and again. He should know how to act and that not everyone will like him. To get to be CEO he had to step on a lot of toes. I am sure he has enemies, why is it so hard for him to believe that others won't like him. My answer is: he either has mental issues or it is all a persona he puts on to keep himself in the news.

Oh, I've seen plenty of people who run successful businesses act like big babies. Actually, I'd be tempted to say their egos are bigger than the norm, and that is what drives them. The difference is, we normally don't elect someone with this level of ego to be president. And I think one has to have a huge ego to even run for this position, but with this man it's so out there.

Alchyrogue, what I've heard people who've worked closely with him say suggests the latter. But it isn't just the news he acts for. He seems to act as if putting on a show for everyone he meets, even in situations where most people relax, and people who try to get to know him fail to get humanizing responses.

I find this disturbing for two reasons. First in that no one really knows who this man is, and second in that this pattern is common among sociopaths. They lack the emotional responses and social filters most people have, and require a mask to fit in.

No one seems able to agree on the matter, but those often rehashed photos are likely inaccurate, most likely in my opinion, the one on the right was taken while crowds were still gathering.

A reasonable estimate of Trump's crowd size is 800,000. Which is respectable, more than the photo on the right would indicate, and indeed more than most recent presidents other than Obama can boast.

It does of course put paid to Trump's claim that his crowd was the biggest ever. Obama pulled in 1.8 million for his first inauguration, and 1 million for his second. But by now one expects that man to exaggerate to ridiculous levels.

U.S. Drops charges against 129 inauguration day protesters. Federal prosecutors on Thursday decided to drop charges against 129 people who protested the inauguration of President Trump in Washington last year. In the filing, U.S. Attorneys said the decision was made in light of a not guilty verdict last month for the first six defendants to stand trial for the demonstrations. The violent protests on Jan. 20, 2017, resulted in 234 people being charged or arrested, most with felony charges, after clashes with police and more than $100,000 in damage to downtown Washington. An unprecedented $107 million was raised for Trump’s inauguration. Where did it all go? No one will say. Nearly a year after President Trump's inauguration, the committee that raised an unprecedented $106.7 million for the event has not disclosed how much money remains in its bank accounts or provided a final accounting of its finances. In September, the committee's chairman Tom Barrack announced that $3 million of committee's funds would go to three charities to help with hurricane relief. But this week neither Barrack nor the charities contacted by USA TODAY would discuss the donations. Ref. USAToday.
