127 dead, 220 missing, 400 injured after three rivers overflow in Colombia, sending wall of water through city

Colombia President Juan Manuel Santos declared a state of emergency and warned the death toll could rise as the search for survivors continued in Mocoa, located along Colombia's southern border with Ecuador. Ref. USAToday.

Flooding Colombia

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Colombia. Having lived through a couple floods I know this is nothing to sneeze at. Floods can cause a lot of damage quickly and displace a lot of people. I hope that those who are missing are found alive and well.
