Dolenaer the Ranger

Dolenaer, stands 5'11" tall with a thin, dexterous body. Dolenaer has long, red, flowing hair with green eyes. Dolenaer has a light complexion and a rough appearance in general, a hunter, a woodsman, one that is at home in the wilderness. A master of the longbow, his aim is deadly. He can seem to disappear into the background, stealthy and quiet. He is a master at tracking and earns a living tracking, hunting and foraging. Dolenaer views alliances as necessary. He prefers to fight from a distance with a longbow and is not as proficient in a toe to toe fight. He has the skills of a sniper, yet he is not the assassin type although he will fulfill bounties on criminals.

Advisor Description

I've known Wendell for many years. We were friends as children, whereas I was more of a free spirit he was more interested in being a soldier. Our paths took us different directions but we stayed in contact. He became Captain and I would do scouting for him on occasion. We argue alot about how being free to do your own thing is the best way of living whereas he likes the order and structure. He gives me information on things that are going on and I hunt for him and his men occasionally. It is a relationship of great respect, almost like having a long lost brother.

Reflections on your mother

I miss my mother, I was not ready to go into the world like I thought I was. I miss her guidance and her wisdom. It makes me wish I had listened more as a child. I could use her guidance now. What would she tell me? Would she have me take a different path? I wonder if she can see me now and is she happy with how I've started or is she disappointed. This I guess I will never know. Maybe this is the norm and I need to stick to myself. I hope wherever she is, she is happy.

Lost at such a young age, he will not be missed because he was not well known. A young adventurer gone before he had his chance to excel at anything. He did the right thing and try to fight off a bully. Unfortunately he was not able to survive the encounter. Hopefully he will get a good funeral for someone so young.

Ranger Dolenaer

As the horses pull into town the lifeless body of Dolenaer is taken out of the coach. The other passengers said he attempted to defend himself against a knife wielding opponent but failed and was killed in the process. His body was left by the bandits when the coach was robbed. His body was taken to the local sheriff and put into a nameless grave at the local graveyard. There was no funeral as he was unknown to the folks in the town. There he will lie unknown to all as just another who died in this violent world.
