We all know about the situation with Judge Roy Moore running for the Senate and yet being accused of sexual assault against underage females. What I don't understand is how was he good enough to become a judge and not a senator? Why didn't these girls speak out before?

Roy Moore's lawyer challenges Alabama woman's claim of sexual assault. Usually Republicans will stand behind their own but this rounds they are giving Roy Moore their backs. Flipflop makes an excellent point, how did he become a judge?

White House says 'the people of Alabama should make the decision' on Roy Moore, won't call for him to drop out. President Trump believes that the people of Alabama should decide whether to elect Roy Moore, despite mounting allegations of sexual assault and harassment of girls as young as 14 years old, the White House said. "Look, the president believes these allegations are very troubling and should be taken seriously, and he believes the people of Alabama should make the decision on who their senator should be," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Thursday. While it is ultimately their decision (People of Alabama) at the same time should he even be a candidate for a decision if he really needed some jail time. I echo everyone's question… how did he become a judge and remain a judge for so long.

I guess it all comes down to this - is he's guilty, he will go to jail.If he goes to jail while a Senator, they lose their voted choice. If he's innocent and doesn't get elected Senator because of the allegations, they lose big time.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended embattled Alabama Republican Roy Moore, all but endorsing the Senate candidate who has been accused of sexual assault and child sex abuse.

"He denies it. Look, he denies it," Trump said of Moore. "If you look at all the things that have happened over the last 48 hours. He totally denies hit. He says it didn't happen. And look, you have to look at him also." Ref. CNN.

Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore appeared on a conspiracy-driven radio show twice in 2011, where he told the hosts in an interview that getting rid of constitutional amendments after the Tenth Amendment would "Eliminate many problems" in the way the US government is structured.

Alabama's special election for Senate, in which Moore is facing Democrat Doug Jones, will be held Tuesday. Moore's controversial views on a variety of subjects -- including homosexuality, Islam, and evolution -- have come into sharper focus in the final days of the campaign, even as Moore has had to deal with multiple accusations from women who say that he sexually assaulted or pursued relationships with them as teenagers when he was in his 30s. Moore has denied all allegations. Ref. CNN.
