All these new technologies being developed, yet never seem to show up commercially for far too long if at all. This is why people still feed into conspiracy theories. Using sodium and copper sulfides for battery chemistry would produce some of the least cost rechargeable batteries that have ever existed, which would be a major boon for EVs and power storage for infrastructures.

But as electronic devices become tinier and skinnier without reducing their power and energy demands, they challenge engineers to design batteries that can fit into smaller spaces without compromising on performance.
