Kelsen the Wanderer

I am Kelsen, son of the Ranger Anaryk. Like him, I am tall (About 6'2") and lean, with a wiry strength. I have my mother's blond hair and green eyes. I have fair skin, and a scar on my neck from when an older boy taught me a harsh lesson in a fight. My eyes tend to look around constantly, rarely settling on anything for long. Sometimes I notice well hidden things, while missing what's right in front of me.

I hope one day to become a great Ranger, even greater than my father, learning much about the lands and races surrounding us. It is my hope this knowledge, and my personal strength, will allow me to become a great ruler.

Wanderer Kelsen

Advisor Description

Robin rounded the corner, a few short steps away from the tavern, when she nearly ran into the young man standing before her. "Oh, sorry good sir, I... "
"You have been watching me off and on all day. I would care to know why".
The young, tall lad stared at Robin with intense, though not unfriendly, green eyes.
The wench's face reddened, but after a smile and a slight chuckle, she regained her composure.
"Aren't you the observant one, young sirrah? And a good thing too, for there are those in this town who know where your destiny might lead, and some may be none too happy about it".
Kelsen cocked his head, "My destiny? How can they know what I don't? Don't I get a say in such things?"
Robin smiled and sighed. "Of course you do, young Kelsen. I'm Robin. I knew your mother from when you were but a babe. She saw great things for you, but she also knew there would be great trials and dangers along the way. So, she asked me to keep an eye on you, maybe help you here and there. I'm no great wise sage, but ol' Robin has seen and heard a thing or three over the years. She knows who to trust in this town, and who to watch your back around. Believe you me, young Mr. Kelsen, there are plenty of the latter within these walls".
"I don't know what to say… where do I even start with what to ask?"
"I'd say you should start with some food and ale, mister. You look like you're about to fall down. Follow me into the Old Hog, and let's get you set up".
With that, the buxom wench strode into the tavern, the young lad following in her wake with bemused eyes and a rueful smile.
