Cover Duck

When you’re in high school, everything seems like a life-or-death situation. Getting a D on the pre-calc test or not being asked to prom by the guy you’ve been crushing on for years is the end of the world. Many adults look back on those years with fondness and a bit of embarrassment, forgetting that the adolescent traumas they endured shaped much of their approach to the world. But what if it wasn’t just bullying and low grades or other, darker, personal issues? What if the world really was ending?
