Missouri Ships

Missouri governor says at least 13 dead in Branson, Mo., duck boat tragedy. The victims, including children, died after a boat carrying tourists capsized and sank on a lake during a thunderstorm in a country music mecca in southwest Missouri, authorities said Friday. Ref. USAToday.

I have ridden these ducks while in Branson and they are normally very safe boats. The fact that a severe Thunderstorm came up and they were trying to get back to shore shows that the drivers of these WWII amphibious vehicles were aware that they could not safely navigate on rough waters. I hope that they find the other people and victims.
