Brookstone

Brookstone files for bankruptcy, plans to close remaining mall stores. The gift-and-gadget retailer, which is owned by Chinese conglomerate Sanpower Group, says it is closing about 100 remaining mall locations after declining foot traffic hurt sales. The company hopes to keep its 35 remaining airport stores open. Ref. USAToday.
