Men like Kavanaugh are "Under siege" and what have women been… I mean lots of women who have had to bare the shame of being assaulted by someone who should be behind bars? These kinds of statements by Trump just piss me off.

I am at a loss on this whole movement. I get that they want to make the laws different so that men can be punished more but I feel the laws on our books are vastly in need of being rewritten. Too many laws favor a certain race and that is sad. The laws should be written so they fairly effect everyone no matter their color or sex. This would make the Metoo movement obsolete as women would be seeing those that commit any crime punished fairly.

The counter point to this is women have more power to change a man's life than they realize. Just accusing a man for doing something wrong can get him fired from his work and alienated from his friends and family. I have seen too many cases where women have accused a person of sexual assault and see the guys career gone and family leaving him just to find out the woman made it all up because she thought it would be funny.
See I see two sides to all of this as I have been a victim of the second paragraph more than once and there is nothing I could do. And the sad thing is the man I'd guilty as charged no matter what and that is sad even if he is innocent.

There is lots of good in this movement and I've long thought that such a movement should have been around before. The Cosby case is what brought these and similar cases to the front- popular rich men taking advantage of women. Like everything else there is room for improvement and direction but the movement shouldn't be put as though its a bunch of crazy women just accusing anyone they can.

I think that the movement could do things a bit different and make even a bigger impact but I am not one to listen to since I am a man.

At what point will they just decide to ban flirting altogether since now days practically anything nice you say to a girl can be considered sexual harassment. I have to wonder how relationships will be formed in 20+ years when noone will have the courage to even talk to people they like because they won't be sure if they will go to prison or not.
