This is heartbreaking. I can't imagine the anguish the father must feel. He will blame himself for the rest of his life. That poor child. Life can be so rough. :(.

I feel sorry for the father but one has to always go into the direction your child has gone and your child at that age should know to stop before being out of sight from their parent. I know at times this can not work as in this case. I would be interested to find out if any foul play did take place.
