If you are over the hill and now thought about running / jogging to stay fir then you may like to watch some of my tips. I run 5 miles every other day.
I used to run 10km but unfortunately had to stop because my knees started to hurt due to bad running shoes.
My advise to everyone is to buy and wear comfortable running shoes.
