Kyever the Scholar

I, am Kyever. I am known as the Scholar because I have always been deeply interested in the search for knowledge and truth.

I was born a Human because my parents were both Humans native to the heart of the kingdom.

I stand around six feet and one inch tall with a slim body. I have shoulder-length black hair and a well trimmed beard with serious-looking piercing blue eyes. I have pale skin and usually dress in a mixture of dark blue tailored hooded robes and leather travel accessories, making me look very portly and capable, while not making me too conspicous.

I see myself as one who follows fellow scholars and wizards. I want to know all there is to know about the misteries of this world, becoming a master of magic and lore, by first starting a trade in alchemy or magic and using it as a means of expanding my knowledge, gathering oportunities and improving my position in the kingdom. I generally prefer to work alone, but view alliances as necessary and often positive endeavors.

I intend to use the knowledge I gather to gain importance and influence in order to become the next Ruler of Kings. Thus, I now start this path towards life.

Advisor Description

As I was having a meal at the tavern, sitting alone at a table by a window, I noticed a well-dressed gentleman enter the building. He looked around and smiled when he met my gaze, then proceeded to walk in my direction and asked to join me.
I first noticed he was of older age, probably over fifty years old, but had a strong presence. He was dressed in very fine, embroidered clothes fit for a noble. Then, cordially and with a persistent smile, he told me that his name was Iren and he was to be my advisor.
As I found out, my mother had chosen him to help me in my quest, aiding me with advice in the moments I needed. He also told me he had kept eyes on me on the way, watching me from afar, and that he was glad I was on my way to fulfill my destiny.
I believe he has genuine interest in my well-being, be that out of goodness or self-interest. I imagine this could be a very good relationship.

Reflections On Your Mother

Mother was always doing things to help me walk towards my destiny. I wonder if she was right about that. I am certain her intentions were the best, but sometimes I catch myself daydreaming of a tower in secluded location where there's just me and my books.
I am sure there's more to my journey, though. I will continue to walk the path she set me on, she always knew what was best to me. I wish she was here right now…

I was frustrated with the lack of oportunities the town provided and left for a different Kingdom, hoping to find more diverse knowledge and better chances of completing my goal.Perhaps I should learn more about the elves and pursue more obscure forms of Magick.
Maybe this was my fate since the start, maybe I'm taking destiny in my own hands and making it whatever I wish.
