UK coronavirus vaccine candidate is safe and effective with few side effects, early trial results show. The findings published Monday in The Lancet show promising results. According to study co-author Sarah Gilbert of Oxford University: “There is still much work to be done before we can confirm if our vaccine will help manage the COVID-19 pandemic, but these early results hold promise."
