Enticing of Joseph

After a long adventure, I decided to see what Joseph was doing. I found myself nervous, unable to think clearly, as I entered the tavern. After stopping at the bar to get a mug, I took a deep breath. A sudden thought came to me, so I paid for a second mug and walked confidently to where Joseph was looking at some paper. I wondered if it was the ad I had put up to get offers of tasks. I sat down the mug and gave him my best smile. "I have two, would you like one?"

My Next Medieval Adventure

The posting seems to have gotten attention, and I was approached by a man with blue eyes about a task. Krys was was not impressed with this man, whispering how boring he looked. I ignored her and put on my most attentive face and listened to his words. Named Krull, he needing something to help feed the people in his home. I took a deep breath and nodded my sympathy - these stories always get to me. Krys pretended to be uninterested, but I felt her lean closer to hear.

He said he had a problem with his back, and couldn't do much at the moment. If someone could help him gather chunks of gold in a mine outside of town, he would share the findings, 40/60. Krys opened her mouth, which I knew was going to try to get more, but I agreed to the task before she could say anything.

The reward seemed to outweigh the risks, so it was an easy decision to take on this task. For Krys, though, she was suspicious of this older woman from the beginning. I understand her hesitancy, but the money seems to be worth the while. Plus, we'll get to see more of the lands we haven't really explored!

This adventure is for a noble cause! This half-elven woman has been treated poorly because of things she has no control over. I immediately took her task to get treasure to help her and others like her! Also, it seems this task might take me to a place I haven't quite been to yet.
