Okay, so we've established that Payden is indeed VERY wealthy.
I will make him a Fallen Hero, a guy who got disgruntled and fell off the grid and has now returned, older and out of practice.
He is in no way extravagant in his life style, he is a recluse and conducts his business from a rather humble cottage far away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Most of his money is tied up in investments, so he does not have access to unlimited resources.
My guy is just a common shmo who happened to be out for a walk when all of a sudden he saw a flash of light. Later he woke up in a clearing and from accident found out he had this new found power. This is why he is a poor superhero.
I bought:
1 lightweight full suit
1 full helm bullet proof
1 visor bulletproof
1 first aid kit
3 days rations
total spent $2,230
money left $70 Edited: KNtoran on 1st Apr, 2009 - 6:41pm
Krakyn I can't figure this out:
'Also roll a d4 for once for each point rolled in the d12 roll. It will be the skill level of each skill you will choose.'
So 1d4 once for each point of the 1d12? I don't understand.
Do we have all those skills at varying levels or do we have to choose a specific amount?
Just need a little guidance.
Oh and the result for the 3d6 roll you wanted is '14'.
----edit----
Wait a minute just noticed something do you mean roll 1d12, then roll 1d4 the number of times equal to the result? That means the range is 1-48 right? Edited: Tiphereth on 2nd Apr, 2009 - 5:20am
Close Tipereth what we are going to do is you are going to roll the 3d6 say you get 6 then you are going to chose 6 skills. Then you are rolling a 1d4 for the level of each skill. Just trying to bring the talent of the character up to match the description also might help when fight time comes or investigate time.
So roll 3d6 get 14 then roll the 1d4 14 times and assign each skill you pick one of those values. Then post for me thanks.
I was thinking the 1d12 but then changed that to a 3d6 after rereading some things. Edited: krakyn on 2nd Apr, 2009 - 1:34pm
For every one else I will be letting you roll a d12 and I will post a list of skills to chose from for each of you based on your character description and all those skills start at 1. When you gain experience you can train in the skills to up grade them. You also can learn new skills.
I allowed Sphere to be higher as he is a returning hero so his abilities reflect that.
For every 1000 exp you pick a new skill.
Klar will get 10 skills level one.
Pick from the list I placed for Tiphereth but note for you Toughness is of interest and for the power related talents pick from these.
Skill set for klar to pick from
First aid , Survival, Unarmed Combat, Brawling, Disguise, Language, Security Systems, Toughness, Vehicle Operation, Combat Skill, Demolitions, Electronics, Foresight, Lip reading, Mechanic, Running, Social Skill, Stunt Driving, Tracking, Weapon skill, Computers, Engineering, Heavy Weapons, Surveillance, Tumbling.
Power related skills for Klar
Instant change (camouflage faster)
Mega lift
Power Extension
Remember Klar you are assigning all these at level 1.
Every one can speak native language, is literate, knows the local laws, can do basic sport, Basic mathematics and operate normal civilian vehicles.
These skills are proficiencies above that. So a professional stunt driver or a mathematician is the difference. When you double up in training in one you become better at it.
