A 15-YEAR-OLD schoolgirl standing on the corner minding her business was gunned down yesterday, as gang violence continued to rear its ugly head in Diego Martin.

Dead is Kimberly Monderoy, of Cuthbert Circular, Four Roads.

Police said she was standing innocently on the corner where she lived around 5.30 p.m, when a group of people began arguing.

So intense was the argument that it led to someone brandishing a gun and firing it indiscriminately. Monderoy was shot in the ensuing melee as people scampered for safety.
