SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico: Governor Aníbal Acevedo Vilá’s chances of winning his aspirations for re-election were slim, facing 24 federal charges for allegedly violating campaign finance laws, wire fraud and allegedly raising money to pay off his 2000 and 2004 campaign debts. Vilá’s trial is slated to begin in February.

Sounds like this guy thought he could do what ever he wanted. I guess the people of Puerto Rico showed him. Now I hope he has to pay for the crimes he committed.
