Not but the hear saffron might grow there. I see why they did it as now they can be recognized as a new power in the space race so as to speak. Do we have some one knocking on the door for a hey I want more international power?

I'm not impressed. They are hoping to form first world status, but with millions below the poverty level I cannot see how this can be considered any great achievement.

Well the fact that they are able to launch a space flight can help their country. I hope that they take that help and put it to good use for the sake of their people. We will have to wait and see now.

I am interested now if this craft makes it to the moon or not.

True JB might have been nice to see them place the same monies toward helping the poor. Same can be said for every country though to a lesser extent. I would rather see all fed and the world looked after then any space race funded.

Based on their running record I do not see that happening. So long as the Caste system exits in practically and in the culture I do not think they will ever truly put their own people first. It is a doggie dog system at its worst. I am not saying the government has to feed the poor, but they do have to establish BASIC infrastructure for all their people before they look towards the stars.
