Men really do have an excuse for being wimpy about coughs and colds - their immune systems are not as strong as those of women. Ref. Source 6

I think that a womans immune system is stronger than a mans due to the fact that they are the ones who care for and carry the children. We see in nature that those that bare the infants are the stronger ones and the ones less likely to get sick.

This is interesting. I thought women were more susceptible to illness and died from them more often. I know women die from heart disease more often. Women deal with and take on a lot in their lives and stress often causes the heart disease though.
I agree that women probably have better immune systems because we are the ones who carry the children. This way the baby is healthier and safer.
