If it was about five pupils and out of the five most of the pupils and the parents support the book means that it is probably a very good book. I am not sure I agree with the suspension of her.

Racy Novel Teacher Defends Book UFO & Writing Art Education Sciences

I am sometimes surprised by what people come up with and call it teaching. I mean is she saying this is the only way she knew how to encourage a challenging class? Were other methods tried? Was there research done into why they are giving her a challenge? If she had time to write a book I'm sure she had time to answer those questions too.
