I do remember the day just as if it were yesterday. It is very clear in my mind's eye. It is difficult to think it has been a whole five years, such a long time, yet such a short time. The tragedy struck so many and changed so many lives. I remember being coming out of a meeting (at my school) and hearing the news. I suddenly felt as if I was dreaming, or simply part of a different world. Nothing seemed real to me at that moment. My heart broke and my soul sank for those who lost their lives that day. However, I live in Oklahoma and I feel that it is a shame that the ones who died in the Oklahoma City Bombing are not remembered as well. It seems as though the bombing is a tragedy we just ignore. This is my opinion and I have no ill feelings towards those who disagree with me. In fact, I'd like to see some comments from the other side.
