Dungeons & Dragons zombies aren't quite like what you see in popular media. They're automatons in a sense, they mindlessly follow the instructions of the necromancer who made them, rather than a hunger for flesh.

Since I'm pretty sure the instructions were along the lines of "Destroy the village" rather than "Eat whatever meat you see", I don't think the bait will help.

As to the skeletons, I doubt their necks are magically reinforced, but chances are that regular weapons will do more damage than their skulls.

Ok I meant just sneaking up and grabbing a skeletons skull as a show of there not that dangerous if you can do that as well as defeating them as a way to give moral to a defetable opponent.

Dark Druid says...

Avan suggests himself beside Bastion in the front, his jackal next, Rivoril and Arilynia behind that and the cleric at the back.

The cleric is our best weapon against anything that physical might won't be able to touch, and we can't be sure we won't be hit from behind.

I would suggest
Bastion, Avan
Cleric
Rivoril, Arilynia
Jackal.

Kn already said they're not willing to enter the ruins proper, we're leaving them on a vantage point outside to cover the rear.

The Resiliant says...

I'm happy with Bastion's order of march. Lets all enter the rabbit hole now, and see how far it goes.
Rivoril, has his rapier drawn, entering stealthily.

Rivoril Results:
  • Move silently on D20 (+9): 24 (1 roll)
