UN gives go ahead? Arfter Iraq who else?

Okay, so first it was Afghanistan, now it is Iraq, and then it will
be...? This seems really ripe for a 3rd World War. Anyone with a nuke
is a whole army. It does not matter if you have the UN backing you up.
By the way, has anyone ever noiticed that the US always seems to get
what it wants through the UN? I mean has there ever been something that
the UN said the US could not do?
what about Japan
I thought Japan did not have any nuclear capabilities because of the restraints they are under they hardly have any kind of significant military power.

Associated Press

WASHINGTON - American citizens working for al-Qaida overseas can legally be
targeted and killed by the CIA under President Bush's rules for the war on terrorism,
U.S. officials say.

More on this can be read at: https://deseretnews.com/dn/view/1%2C1249%2C...18509%2C00.html

Do you think this is pushing it too far or is this necessary?

Well, I don't know if it's neccesary. But I think Bush is trying to send a message in here, that no matter where are you from if you work for Al Qaeda you're his enemy, even if you're an american citizen.

With the USA's claim of Iran with Nuclear Weapons facilities in progress and North Korea's having one already... what does President Bush hope to accomplish? granted that the allegation may be true, but then what? Is it that he wants to start a war with these nations before he even enters Iraq? Or is it that he is getting them and the world 'preped' so as to say, "Well, after Iraq we are going to go here... and then there..."? I was recently watching a film called, 'The Three Giants' about the WWII Allied heads and their meetings over the Axis. Gone are those days when heads come together to arrange troops. Its more like who has nukes? Let's go get them before they get us. My interest in all this is where will be the end?

[offtopic]As a side note. From the scriptures we know that there will be no end to war until end times and so 'wars and rumors of wars' continues'[/offtopic]

USA TALKING BIG!

CNN NEWS:
North Korea is taking new steps to resume its nuclear program, and the U.S. is
letting them know it is not happy about it. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld
warned Pyongyang that the U.S. could win a war against North Korea and Iraq--
even if it was fighting both wars at the same time. General Wesley Clark joins
me to discuss the challenges the U.S. military could face in the coming months.

Do you think the USA can take on the world all at the same time? It seems that as on problem ensues another arises.
